WHAT DOES THE WORK, CERTIFICATION OR QUALIFICATION?

The move by various governments of the world towards combating the monster called “UN-Employment” It’s quite encouraging these days.
This monster is one of the threats against human survival apart from terrorism, crimes, corruption and others. Many nations of the world were reported having great percentage of unemployed citizens of which Nigeria is not exempted.

Recently the vice president Prof. Yemi Osinbajo according to Leadership report vowed that the new administration is set to tackle this menace from a strategic frontier, by making pays available for the unemployed sect of the society. He said
“Once this is completed, we will implement the first phase of this program, using recognized identification platforms and transparent payment solutions.
“We cannot talk about the economy of the future without addressing how we move people out of poverty. One of the most striking promises we made during the campaign was the payment of Five Thousand Naira to the poorest Nigerians across the country.
“About 112 million (66% of Nigerians) are deemed extremely poor, measured by World Bank parameter of those living on less than US$1.25 per day,”

Nigeria would have being at advantage, looking at the available opportunities that should have arose as the result of this teeming population and in considering the land space. Employment (work) should never have been a problem; this is because “the population of any given space is directly proportional to its arising needs”.
And one man’s gifting is another man’s challenge. These needs include food, shelter, security, power and many others. But in the case of many nations of the world, reverse is the case.

Men and other creatures were created to be interdependence, and even an extract of a creed says “the earth great treasure lies in human personalities”. This means the problem of any human space is not money or minerals, but lack of adequate management of human resources. The better any given environment even (human being) is managed, the better productive same would be. Countries like China, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan are good examples.
One major cause discovered that relegates many nations of the world in the pursuit to defeating this monster is misplacement of priorities both at the government level. Governments of many nations placed very little value in the development of their people and in same vain the people has also placed little on developing themselves they rather quest for grades, tittles and certificates.
Many Students in schools sail all possible (crooked) means to obtain grades that they do not genuinely work for so that they can get good certificate and latter good paying jobs, most of them with distinctions and upper credits are most times unable to function in the market place. Even some mess up at the point of interview.

VS

The truth is that there are massive jobs out there on our streets and environments, but available are little capable hands to execute them. This now calls young people to think deeply what needed to be done in order to defeat this militating monster even right from their minds. This action will help everyone live a happy and abundant life man was originally meant to live.
Young people need to have a change of mindset and understand that certificate are only meant to be a proof of (education) training, while getting and being able to deploy skills and knowledge into solving problems (qualification) is what get jobs done. This is the crucial element that makes one get a job in any given environment.
Young people who desire to live a happy life must discover who they are, what turns them on and brings them fulfillment. It is along this line that they need to develop skills, knowledge and disciplines so they may get the best of life.
They should take their studies beyond the school wall, they must engage in research and relative vocational studies. For instance, a mechanical engineering student could look for a mechanic workshop where he could apply and practice the principles and knowledge acquired in the school, while a student studying along the line of education should find a school close to where he lives and do something in the area of teaching likewise.
All courses of studies in the schools all meant to provide solutions to human problems, therefore young graduate could always find a place to practice the knowledge they've gathered over the years to solving problems for humanity. The reward is job and later good take home.
The overall effect of this would be that each person who has something meaningful to contribute to the development of the society, and also would able to make living from the reward gotten from solving problems for humanity.
