It’s been some days ago that I have been longing to share
this. But my hectic schedule and work hasn’t permitted me. I had an unusual encountered On Wednesday evening;
I started a journey that is transforming me already. I entered the Bodija branch
of Love World Ministries close to my office at Osuntokun Avenue, Old Bodija and
joined them for the evening service.
My father, Dr Chris Oyakilome was dishing the Word, and radiating
out the glory of God as he shared. At the end of his ministration, the entire congregation
delved into the realm of The Spirit speaking in other tongues and the
environment was vibrating.
Along the line of his ministration, he declared under the
power of the Holy Spirit seven days ‘Word Fasting’, this sound strange to me, my
thought was that we are to abstain from food as usual; I mean the common fast
types. But to my amazement, Word Fast means we will speak over our lives and
circumstances for seven days.
For seven days we shall make positive confessions (affirmations)
as we desire our world to look like. So the man of God admonished us to get our
pad and begin to write our desires and also attach relevant scriptures to them
as we are going to be “Re-Creating Our World”. I remembered he said if there is
something you are not enjoying or any issues in your life that you don’t like,
there is no need to complain, rather use your mouth to create the better you
desire.
He used a profound illustration… see this; many people who
had ‘Pot Belly’, built their world of stomach with their mouth, this they achieved
over time by all sorts of foods and junks they ate and drank through their mouth”.
But he said “our mouth is not for food and drink only, but to speak and declare
over situations, to pray and to bless”.
One of the nights after I had Re- Created my world; I slept,
and later woke up with this mystery in my spirit. The Holy Spirit dropped this
scripture into my heart Gen. 2vs1-3 “So the heaven and the earth and everything
else were created by the seventh day God finish His workday and so He rested. God
blessed the seventh day and made it special because on that day he rested from
his work”.
I found out from the scripture that all the creation was a product
of the Word, except man that came from within Him (God).
Coincidentally on my pad, I managed only to write seven
outlines, the seventh space left empty which I later designed to fill it with
thanksgiving, praise and worship sessions throughout.
You can’t do this and your life will remain the same, the
only outcome to this would bring is a Brand New Life as compared to what the
earth became after creation. Kindly read the story of creation from Gen 1vs
1-31.
Everything God did was carried out by the power of His
spoken words. God said
‘I command light to shine! And light stated shining. God
looked at the light and saw it was good.
What change do you desire in your life? It’s time to call
them to be….
Please its time you stop complaining of your situation, bad
government, no help from brothers and sister and the uncle you have in the
place of authority. The time has come for you to go to work. If God would worked
to change a situation from what is not to what it is, then you don’t have
excuse.
Nigerian youths are too full of excuses and blame games, we blame
our government, parent’s family members and some themselves when they suppose
to take charge and make something beautiful out of their lives.
I want to challenge you to a Paradigm Shift today join the
host of Kingdom Creators as we change our lives from what it is now to what we desire.
Let me help you with the way to go about it; as some could
be lost in doing this. Take your pen and pad, approach your life and circumstances
in the order stated below writing down what you desire of them and please
attach relevant scriptures; you don’t know scriptures to use. Isn’t it? Don’t
be scared take advantage of technology, Google them out….
The outlines are
1.
Your spiritual life]
2.
Soulical life (mind, brain and emotion)
3.
Physical and material (health and provisions)
4.
Gods purpose for your life, and kingdom goals
5.
Business and Career (professional or
educational)
6.
Family friends and society (Nigeria and world at
large)
7.
Thanksgiving and praise
The next step is to go into the place of your prayer; I mean
your Creating Studio, begin to declare what you’ve written down in prayer unto
God. Are you filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues?
Good! Kindly speak mysteries over your life. Do this as long as you could, I
recommend at least one hour each day.
You can’t come out of this exercise and still remain the
same. If God got result you will definitely get too because HIS SPIRIT (God’s
breath) is at work in you.
But before you proceed, there is an important question I
will like to ask you. Are you born again? Do you have a relationship with Jesus
Christ? Ok you had one before but lost it along the line… If you don’t have a
relationship with Christ and embark on this journey all you will be doing is a
mere drama with no tangible result, hence you come out with nothing.
The first step is to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and savior,
surrender and rededicate your life unto Him and let Him take charge.
If you are
ready to do this, kindly say the prayer below loud
“Lord Jesus, I come to you today,
I need a relationship with
you.
I am sinner, lost like a prodigal son;
I repent from my old ways
today and receive the forgiveness of my sin.
Come into my life today and give me your spirit.
Help me to
live a holy life and be with you all the days of my life.
Thank you Jesus for saving me, In Jesus name I pray. Amen
I congratulate you, now you are a child of God, you can
proceed to recreating your world.
